Join Hearts Open for Everyone (H.O.P.E) in their workshop “Roots of Courage: Black Pioneers who Shaped out Community,” as they present Tracy Lee, who will lead an immersive storytelling and musical journey that brings back Black Canadian History.

About the speaker:
Tracy (She/Her) was born and raised in Brantford, Ontario; she has now made Guelph her home for over 25 years. She is a proud 5th generation Black Canadian with ancestral roots in North Buxton, Queens Bush Settlement, and the St. Catharines/Niagara/Brantford area.

- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
