Are you a Black youth looking to expand your knowledge of STEM and entrepreneurship this summer?
Join Guelph Black Heritage Society for their Dream Makers Summer Camp this July and August. This camp is black-centred youth program, teaching topics of STEM and entrepreneurship while building community.
The program is free of charge and will take place in-person at Heritage Hall (83 Essex St, Guelph) from 10:00 am – 2:00pm. The camp will run two sessions, from July 7 – 18 and August 11 – 22.
Important: Registrations are open until July 2, 2025. There will be snacks and a pizza lunch on Fridays.
Important Dates to Remember
Provincial Elections:
- Provincial Election Day: June 2nd 2022
- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
