Annual Community BBQ – SCAWR

Join the Somali Canadian Association of Waterloo Region for their Annual Community BBQ on Saturday, July 5th from 12 to 8 PM.
This event hopes to raise awareness on the importance of building strong and healthy communities and celebrating members in our community and their achievements.
Wear your celebratory hats and come hungry to enjoy some food and celebrate community members achievement! Don’t miss it out!

- High School Graduation Celebration
- Face painting
- Henna
- Bouncy Castles and more.

Provincial Elections:
- Provincial Election Day: June 2nd 2022
- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
