Join Immigration Partnership Waterloo Region and Kitchener-Waterloo Multicultural Centre
to celebrate the diversity of Waterloo Region.
Come and meet new people, immerse yourself in different cultures, and connect with local ethnocultural organizations.
If you are new to Waterloo Region this a great opportunity to build relationship and share stories.
Snacks and children activities will be provided. Interpretation are also offered in multiple languages.

5:00 – 8:00 PM – Meet and greet with ethnocultural organizations
5:45 PM – Formal welcome & Indigenous opening
6:15 – 7:30 PM – Human Library

Provincial Elections:
- Provincial Election Day: June 2nd 2022
- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
