Citizens for Cambridge, Waterloo Region Community Foundation and Cambridge Neighbourhood Organizations invites you to hear directly from candidates about their platforms, priorities, and visions for our community before the federal election on April 28, 2025.
The majority of the Federal candidates from both local ridings—Cambridge and Kitchener South–Hespeler—have agreed to participate in separate town hall discussions moderated by community leaders:
Cambridge Riding:
Monday, April 14 at 7:00 pm
Kinbridge Community Association, Duncan Macintosh Arena, 200 Christopher Drive

Important Dates to Remember
Provincial Elections:
- Provincial Election Day: June 2nd 2022
- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
