Join the Congress of Black Women – Waterloo Region Chapter to celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) – a global celebration of women’s achievements and a call for continued progress in gender equality. It is a time to honor the social, economic, cultural and political contributions of women and highlight the ongoing work towards their full participation in society.

Provincial Elections:
- Provincial Election Day: June 2nd 2022
- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
