Participate in the Kitchener-Conestoga Provincial Election Debate on Thursday, February 20th, at 7:00 PM.
The debate will focus on three critical issues impacting our community:
- Environmental policy and sustainability
- Housing affordability and development
- Social assistance and community well-being
The event will provide an opportunity for voters to hear directly from candidates about these important topics.
Important Dates to Remember
Provincial Elections:
- Provincial Election Day: June 2nd 2022
- First date to submit nominations: Nominations can be submitted anytime
- Last Day to submit nomination by email and such: May 3rd 2022
- Last day to submit nomination to local Returning Officer: May 12 2022
Municipal Elections:
- 1st date to submit candidacy: May 2nd 2022
- Last date to submit candidacy: August 19th 2022, 2pm (also last day to withdraw a candidacy)
- Candidates are certified: August 22nd
- Municipal Elections: Oct 24th 2022, 10am -8pm (subject to local rules)
