Join the Waterloo Public Library for a special Black History Month family author event designed to spark open, meaningful conversations.
Enjoy a warm and inclusive afternoon with local Community Changemaker, Grace Ibrahima, the author of White Questions, Black Answers.
Grace will be “Auntie” for the afternoon, answering respectful questions from young participants about skin colour, racism, discrimination, and curiosity in a welcoming, judgement-free space.
Inspired by Canada’s 2026 Black History Month theme, Honouring Black Brilliance Across Generations, this family-focused event invites children to help guide the conversation. A book signing and purchase opportunity will follow.
This is a registered family event — please register each attendee when booking HERE. All who wish to listen, learn, and reflect together are welcome.
