Join Civic Clarity Founder, Rehan Mazid, who will lead a civic panel in Waterloo Regional Council Chambers titled ‘Youth Mental Health & The Role of Good Governance.’ The event brings together Members of Parliament and Provincial Legislature to hear directly from youth, be held accountable, share their next steps forward, and listen to youth as consultants in one of Canada’s most urgent challenges: the mental health crisis young people face.
The panel, fully funded by the Waterloo Region’s Children and Youth Planning Table (CYPT), marks a rare youth-led initiative. Panelists include MP Bardish Chagger, MP Matthew Strauss, MP Kelly DeRidder, MPP Aislinn Clancy, Regional Councillor Colleen James, and Student Trustee Kinjal Kaur.
